HOW IT WORKS

The Frosty Nipple Invitational is a “Ryder Cup” style golf tournament composed of 36 players and 9 teams played over 2 rounds. Each round is a different format and the cumulative scores from both rounds determines the winning team.

TEAMS

Teams are created by the commissioner based on the following goals:

1. Creating competitive parity using tiered groups (see below)

2. Playing in groups with friends/family that you know. 

All players will be split into 4 tiers based on their submitted average scores and their previous scores at the tournament.  Therefore, golfers who shoot similarly will be in the same tier. (Ie:  80’s golfers will be grouped together, 90’s golfers will be grouped together, 100’s…. etc.)

 Once the tiers are established, teams are then created that are fair with hopes to put colleagues together. Teams are constructed of 4 players with a player from each tier. 

INDIVIDUAL (optional)

There is an optional singles event that takes place during round 1. It is an additional $20 entry fee with low score taking all the winnings.
